Hello there, I’m Minde, the owner and creative force behind Demelosoddities.
Here is a fun fact about me, I drive a pink car with a Cheshire cat all over it. Yes, it is the exact same one you see on my profile picture.
On the one hand, long before the shop, even before that tiny spark of an idea came to be, there was love. The kind of love you can only have with Art and creativity. The kind of love that makes us creative and passionate.
I have 6 sons and have been married for 33 years. In this journey, my husband and I want to share what we are good at with the whole world, we do taxidermy, and we are venders at a lot of renaissance fairs.
We have been creating, designing, and whipping up all kinds of creative projects as long as we can remember. We love creating beautiful items and sharing art with other people.
My mother instilled a love of creating in both my sister and me. I grew up around sewing and other forms of crafting because my mother was a seamstress. I enjoy creating something useful out of otherwise useless materials. I believe that what I do promotes respect for animals rather than cruelty. brings new life to the dead. All of the shadow boxes with bats and other woodwork that we sell are made by my husband.
